Rendel L. Solomon is a Principal with Muller & Monroe Asset Management (M²), a Chicago-based private equity firm. Prior to joining M², Rendel worked as an entrepreneur in the media and entertainment industry in New York. He began his professional career in the consumer packaged goods industry as a project engineer for The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) in Cincinnati, OH. Rendel obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Rendel is actively involved with the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP), National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). From 2011 to 2014, he served as the President of the Associate Board for LINK Unlimited Scholars, a non-profit mentoring and scholarship organization. In October 2014, Rendel was recognized as a Rising Star in private equity by the NAIC. He has been asked to host a number of youth-focused financial literacy programs with organizations like the Chicago Urban League and Magnetar Youth Investment Academy.
